If you are from one of the South Asian countries and you do not have diabetes, this program is for you:

  • Come learn why South Asians may be at higher risk of developing diabetes and get your risk for developing diabetes assessed.
  • Meet others and engage in various activities and conversations.
  • Set realistic goals and learn how to prevent Diabetes.
Note. Language support is available upon request.
Eligibility

This program is designed for South Asian populations in Toronto not living with Type-2 Diabetes.

1. Every Wednesday in February at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm:

  • February 7: Diabetes Awareness and Risk Assessment
  • February 14: Healthy Eating
  • February 21: Coping with Stress
  • February 28: Physical Activity and Goal Setting
