Flemingdon Health Centre is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides free health care services and community programs to residents living within our catchment area. Many of our programs and services are provided in collaboration with local organizations.

Giving Tuesday is today!

This Giving Tuesday we are rallying together to ensure fair access to food. At Flemingdon Health Centre, we see firsthand how food insecurity impacts health and well-being. A City of Toronto report shows that 25% of Torontonians are food insecure. Without fair access to healthy food, our clients and communities cannot take care of their health and wellbeing.

This #GivingTuesday, help FHC honour 50 years of care, compassion, and community to ensure fair access to food by DONATING HERE.

Your $50 donation will help provide nutritious fruits and vegetables for a family of 4 for a week. Why stop there? A donation of $150 will support 3 families or a donation of $550 would support 5 families! With 25% of Torontonians food insecure, there is a great need to act now!

The first $1,000 will be matched, magnifying your impact!

Our Services

We offer client-centered health care services by putting our clients at the centre of any planning and decision-making about their treatment. We provide our clients with available information and guidance to support them in the decisions they make about their health care.

Our Programs

We support our communities in achieving good health by offering a series of health education programs, healthy lifestyle activities and initiatives that offer engagement and development opportunities for community members.

Sector Partnerships

FHC is committed to working closely with our community agencies and our partners – from government to funders to businesses – to ensure children, youth and families have timely and barrier-free access to the supports they need in their community. Our partnerships support our services and programs and the communities we serve.

The community health workforce loves the work they do, but the growing wage gap is making it harder to continue delivering health care and support in the community that millions of Ontarians rely on. #ForUsForYou
